BACK TO COMICS BY YEAR

This issue features Yambar’s final original script for Bongo Comics. In “Fright Before Christmas” Kang and Kodos return to earth to document their people’s greatest creation…Christmas. What they find is the town of Springfield in the midst of making a Zombie Christmas movie entitles “The Wassailing Dead”. After the citizens turn on them the two aliens hide out at the old folks home and are treated to the majestic taste of the one thing they can’t get enough of – fruit cake. A tale only Yambar has the nerve to tell.
